HNS Election Day Deemed a Success

Arcadia, Hubdova: After the past few days, countless election workers have been hard at work counting votes for the past election. The Hubdovan Government has extended its thanks out to all citizens who voted in this election. Most national districts have submitted their results, so with few votes left, we can say that these results are mostly certain. So, here are the results here:

For Prime Minister: Kristofer Heikkinen (PSP), 67% of the vote

Minister for the Environment: Saara Laine (Greens) 55% of the vote

Minister of Defense: Aairut Nimei (UCC) 71% of the vote

Minister for International Affairs: Kauko Saarinen (Hubdova1st) 52% of the vote

Minister for Internal Affairs: Valbourg Korhonen (Hubdova1st) 78% of the vote

Minister of Agriculture: Karla Benjamin (Greens) 62% of the vote

Minister of Commerce and Finance: Jooa Laine (Hubdova1st) 53% of the vote

Minister of Communications: Hellä Jokinen (UCC) 78% of the vote

Minister of Culture: Viivi Orr (UCC) 67% of the vote

Minister of Housing: Louhi Mosley (PSP) 78% of the vote

Minister of Education: Laura Tapia (PSP) 51% of the vote

Minister for Energy Production and Consumption (MEPC): Riku Rocha (Hubdova1st) 65% of the vote

Minister for Healthcare: Cassia Vincent (Hubdova1st) 56% of the vote

Minister for Industries: Aino Samuel (UCC) 53% of the vote

Minister of Justice: Ismo Hemming (UCC) 61% of the vote

Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation: Joni Nuumi (PSP) 78% of the vote

Minister of the Sciences: Saku Alexandar (Hubdova1st) 67%

of the vote

Minister of Tourism: Pete Kotila (UCC) 64% of the vote

International News

The government in Arcadia has put out a statement today condemning all who were announced in the Ezgram Papers. Minister of International Affairs Kauko Saarinen said in a report that, quote, “These Papers have clearly shown the rampant corruption in the Telrovan governments and major corporations and has brought the issue of fixing this into the international spotlight.” The Hubdovan Ministry of Investigations (HMI) has announced an investigation into people that have had previous connections to the subjects of the Ezgram Papers including former Prime Minister Otso Errkilä, former Minister of Communications Jodia Sanaa, and the CEO of Brisk Technologies: Joss Jokinen among others.

Along with this, the government announced that it would be willing to send aid to the Avalon region which is in chaos at the moment due to the capturing of Marc Willy (the president of Avalon) and the destruction of the presidential palace by fire set by the mobs of people. The Hubdovan Minister of Defense, Aairut Nimei, has stated that he has offered to send security forces and medical aid to the area, which is being watched over by the nation of Locotima. Aairut is currently waiting for a response back from the leader of Locotima.
