Emerald Moss National Forest Entrance Site, Rizidian, Hubdova: Early today, The Minister for the Environment Olavi Mäkinen cut the ribbon on the brand new Emerald Moss National Forest. The forest is approximately 86,778 square kilometers (~ the size of the Arcadia Metropolitan Territory) in size and is fully contained in the national districts of Aväthäe and Rizidian. It is said that this national forest will contain more than 46% of all tree and bird species, including the endangered Iäspark Pine and Äeitas Swallow. This will be the second and largest national forest in all of Hubdova, the other being Böeiswæ Rain Forest, in eastern Toclariä.

Olavi Mäkinen said this in his speech at the ribbon-cutting ceremony: “I am proud to announce the opening of the Emerald Moss National Forest! (*clapping*) This forest has the best hiking, biking, and running trails anywhere in North Laurentia. It is also a hunting-free zone, so you can enjoy it with the whole family without fear of getting shot. This also means that this national forest doubles as a nature preserve, so we can preserve many of the creatures that are native to Hubdova. This means all visitors caught harming the wildlife will be fined ⳩1800. So, I hope all citizens take the time to come visit our new, wonderful park and experience all it has to offer!”
