HNS Hubdova Condemns Military Action in Fendiralia

Government Circle, Arcadia: Prime Minister Kristofer Heikkinen said in a statement this morning that Hubdova has made an official decision to condemn the military action taken between LA and The Fleet of Oceans earlier this month in the Fendiralia region in southeastern Elisia. Hubdova has had a history of remaining neutral in conflicts across Telrova, but Fendiralia has been deemed an exception. Fendiralia is, other than Hubdova’s immediate neighbours, one of the largest destinations of Hubdovan expatriates, so there are many people living in danger of the violence between the two sides. Prime Minister Heikkinen and Minister of Defence Aairut Nimei have strongly urged all Hubdovan citizens to leave if they can, or shelter in place.

Defence Minister Nimei, Prime Minister Heikkinen, and Maj. Gen. Kalevi Nieminen has summoned an emergency meeting to decide on whether or not to send Hubdovan troops on a special mission to evacuate our citizens out of harm’s way.

“Why are we here? We are not here to fight each other, that time has passed. The time of empires and everyone just killing each other for the sake of only land and power, is gone. It's the 21st century, we can talk about this around the negotiation table. People do not need to die over this. This is unacceptable.” - said Heikkinen during his statement this morning. Heikkinen has called on other leaders across the world to condemn this war like Hubdova has.
