La Ardu, Hubdova: Hubdovan rockstar and science and technology fanatic Jaarko Salmelä recently assembled a prototype spacecraft, nicknamed “the Vampire” after the popular Hubdovan television show “The Vampires of Omattäs”. Jaarko has a doctorate at Southern Aväthäe University in spacial propulsion and astral physics. Many of the neighabours of Dr. Salmelä have taken a keen interest in his project and questioned him about his plans and why he had the motivation to make this.
HNS reporter Sanna Karjalainen of HNS-5, a sister station of the broader HNS news network, has interviewed the man. Jaarko said that he had always had an interest in space and, since he has a doctorate in spacial propulsion and astral physics, he thought he should put his knowledge toward something. He says the “Vampire” consists of three type 16 nuclear propulsion engines, a type of nuclear fission engine that has the ability to run in vacuums and oxygen-free environments. The body is only made of cardboard, plastic, and sheet metal for financial reasons.
HSA and TEACSA director Reijo Helminen has taken interest in the design saying that this could actually work quite well with testing. He has asked Dr. Salmelä to meet with him in Arcadia with his prototype and he agreed.

Hubdovan Stance on Oktadonia
Arcadia, Hubdova: Minister of International Affairs Kauko Saarinen has stated that the situation that is ongoing in Oktadonia is, without doubt, worrying. “I have decided that, in accordance with TEAC recommendations, moderate sanctions will be placed on key parts of the Oktadonian economy. I have also stationed extra security and police in the area because of the embassy’s location in the northside Arcadian suburbs.” - said Mr. Saarinen in a statement this morning. All residents on Sunner street have been notified to not panic when they see the increased security around the Oktadonian embassy.
