Wildfires Rip through Northeastern Hubdova

LA ARDU – The national district of Nicoshire has declared a Level Two Disaster Situation, especially in the southern subdistricts of East and West Nicoshire. due to large wildfires in the area. The largest fire prompting the increase from a disaster level four to level two is the Pitt Fire, covering an area of approximately 1852 hectares (4578 acres). It was previously burning an area of 273 hectares (675 acres) until last night when strong winds blew across the south slopes of the Nicoshire Mountains spreading the fire eastward to cover another 1579 hectares (3903 acres). The Hubdovan Meteorology and Volcanism Organization (HMVO) has announced a mandatory evacuation for all residents on the south slope of the Nicoshire Mountains, including the towns of Parkanu, Lohja, and Loviisa. Firefighters from many stations across the country have departed for the fire in hopes of preventing it from expanding much more and threatening any more people and property. 2025 has been the one of the driest years on record, only being beat out by 2019.

HSA Launches the Nerissä Module to the Starshot Station

TERRAGUE ISLAND – The HSA launched the Starshot 3 mission this afternoon carrying the Nerissä Module to the new Starshot Station – the new, in-progress, space station in collaboration with the Fleet of Oceans that, when finished, will serve as an off-world space station free for all nations to use for various scientific and diplomatic purposes. The Nerissä Module itself is mainly used as a dormitory area for the station’s astronauts as well as a lounge area for the astronauts that are off-duty to rest, play games, and just spend their time. The Nerissä Module contains extra life-support equipment that includes humidity control, more advanced heat control, and pressure regulators. The module also contains the ability to convert itself into a diplomatic meeting room for diplomatic talks that need to be held on neutral ground. The astronauts already on the station will receive the unmanned mission later this week and work to install the component into the station’s mainframe.
